- And now some Danes are giving the world a CMS
umbraco is a small Danish software company that develops and maintain the umbraco cms and the community surrounding it. The company was founded by Niels Hartvig in 2001 and the first version came in the end of that year. Now several people are contributing to the system and a continuous growing community is backing up.
We're developing open source software simply because we believe it's the best way. And every single day brings new evidence to our believing for any one involved - from companies to consultants, from coast to coast all over our beautiful planet Earth.
